And again!
New Tree Followers. Welcome!
New Trees!
Please do see the Tree Following Page to check that you, your blog, your location and your tree are there correctly.
Some updated their trees in January. Are your new details up to date? Me? I'm wildly inefficient so if there's something absent and wrong I hope you'll forgive me - and let me know what's to be added, deleted or in other ways put right.
About the Trees in the Arts Page: it's not forgotten. Simply submerged. I know I haven't even emailed everyone who sent suggestions and links. Another grovel. Another please forgive me. All in all we seem to rattle along quite nicely and everything (with a bit of prodding) gets done in the end. (?)
February!
I don't know. Everything seems deader than it did in January. Maybe it's something to do with the skies. Where I live it's a month to appreciate silhouettes. I've also been noticing trees which poke over other people's garden walls. For following they are out of bounds For photographing - hopefully not!
With thanks to 'Mr Linky's Magical Gadgets' which supplies the Link Boxes.

Just to check-in, Lucy, and to say that despite the 'null' message I always get when I link, I see my name has appeared!
Hello Caroline - yes your link is there and goes happily through to your blog. (I've checked.)
I am pleased to be joining in with your tree following meme this year Lucy. Thank you for hosting, and I look forward to following your new tree too.
Mmmm not something I've done before, tree following that be, I thinks I'll be out finding one this weekend....but it'll not be easy for the tree must call to me.
John
Thanks for doing this again this year. I'll be doing both Liz's and my posts during next week.
I look forward, as always, to reading other tree followers posts.
Flighty xx
Just a short update on my current tree. I should have a new one by the start of spring.
Hello Cathy at Words and Herbs - so pleased you are joining us. (The first in Germany.)
Hello John - yes, do join us. If you go for a long walk it will be almost impossible not to find a calling tree!
Hi, Mike. Looking forward to your post and to Liz's.
Hello Donna. Have enjoyed your current tree. Looking forward to your new one.
I do have some pictures. Just need to get them organized and put in a little text to send to you.

Thanks for hosting and for the concept - I am becoming an even more observant garden blogger!
Hi Lucy - can hardly believe another month has gone by already. Looking forward to reading about how the trees are doing this month.
Not much to report in developmental terms but have solved the cultivar mystery of Tavistock's Tilias- what fun tree following can be - thank you
Posted about my Retama and am looking forward to your new tree. Thanks, as always, for hosting.
And off we go with my new tree… in the end, a very old hawthorn. I'll update the general page, too. Thanks for hosting, Lucy!
… Oops, can't update it… can you? It's a hawthorn (OK, I said that already), and it's in Gwynedd, wales...
This year I'd like to follow the Red Mulberry in our yard. It is small but a favorite. Right now it is bare of leaves, but that will not last for long with spring on the way!
Just getting going with a new tree species this year, the bird cherries in the garden. Annoyingly they are very vigorous and ferocious to handle but much loved by the wildlife..so what's not to love! Val
There wasn't much to see that hadn't been seen last month (my first post) so have added a bit of wildlife to cheer things up, I do hope that's ok since the tree is still involved!
Thanks for hosting Lucy.
I only have one more month to go with watching my tree. I will still pass it everyday on the way to and from work so I will still see it! x
I just wrapped up my Tulip Tree Following year. Again, thanks for offering the blog. I learned so much, and it looks like you're going to host it again, so I'll be on board with another tree next month.
Hi Lucy, I hope you don't mind me adding my post on here. This year, I'm looking at a different tree trunk each month.
Amazing how much I learned on line today, reading up on my Tilia americana, aka, basswood, aka linden, aka lime, aka....
I was hoping for more signs of life for this month's update, roll on Spring!
Cathy
I've just posted Liz's Stewartia guest post on my blog.
My own tree following post will be done on Thursday. Flighty xx
Not much action this month but fingers crossed for March! Spring is definitely on the way, promise :)
My new tree for 2015 has found me, so please change the species I am following to Paulownia tomentosa! I look forward to following everyone's trees - although I am still trying to catch up with viewing absolutely all of them from last year - astounding success!
Thanks again for the project. All the best :)
Thank you again for doing this Lucy, it has become very popular so a lot of work for you.
Managed to post my first introduction to my Larch tree, SORRY to be a pain, but I am going to do it on my main blog (not Tree hunting) here is the new link.

Thanks Amanda xx
Thanks again Lucy! Really enjoying reading others.
My choice for tree following Acer negundo Flamingo has not changed much since January, instead I have blogged about the other trees in the garden for this month.
Sorry everyone for being about a million times (maybe a million and a half times!) late in replying.
Lens and Pen - thanks for your photos and text. They are now at http://tinyurl.com/kzfjpxl
Hello Rambling in the Garden. Delighted to know Tree Watching skills are spilling into other areas of your gardening.
Papaver. There's something funny about Tree Watching. It seems to speed up time!
Hello Laura. Even when there seems to be nothing there's always something - whether it's on the tree itself (which nearly always there is) or something new to know about it.
My Gardener Says - I'm enjoying hosting this. Glad you are enjoying taking part!
Hello Beangenie. Not only have you chosen one of my favourite trees but it's in a location many of us will find specially interesting. About updating. I've changed your tree on the Tree Following Page. It's ok - you wouldn't have been able to do it yourself. If it were open to everyone to modify it we might wake up one morning to find we are all following naked ladies or racing cars!
Juliet. I seem to have made a right hash up of your entry. I think everything's put right now. Many apologies.
Hello Val. With your new tree we'll get a double treat - cherries and birds.
It has taken me longer than usual to get through everyone's posts, but I finally did. So enjoyable! Thanks to everyone, and thanks once again to Lucy for organizing.
