Until July 2017, documenting the seasons of coastal Dorset. I'm a complete amateur so don't trust I'm always right. If ever you see I'm wrong - whether with identifications or in anything else - do say! Meanwhile . . . I've now moved to Halifax in West Yorkshire. Click on the link below to collect the new URL. A PAUSE TILL MONDAY

This is a post left over from when Loose and Leafy was a work of fiction. Later, it evolved into what it is now - a blog about the wild plants of the South Dorset Coast.

To make sense (in so far as there is sense) of these early posts, you may like to take a look at Esther in the Garden.

* * *

Ceres, may I say, is no Goddess.

And she is extraordinarily difficult to please.

But she is a child and it is the school holidays and she needs attention.

And Esther's garden needs attention too. I know she says she doesn't mind weeds but, unless I do something substantial in there soon, she won't have a garden to mind the weeds in.

Which means I won't have time to write a post between now and Monday.
.
I have a feeling, though, that it'll leave a gap. I'll miss it (and you).
.
So I'll put one picture a day
.
HERE . . .
.
This is purely self-indulgent but it will keep me entertained . . .
. . . and you can look too if you'd like . . . just click the 'HERE'.
