Until July 2017, documenting the seasons of coastal Dorset. I'm a complete amateur so don't trust I'm always right. If ever you see I'm wrong - whether with identifications or in anything else - do say! Meanwhile . . . I've now moved to Halifax in West Yorkshire. Click on the link below to collect the new URL. CERES' POST

This is a post left over from when Loose and Leafy was a work of fiction. Later, it evolved into what it is now - a blog about the wild plants of the South Dorset Coast.

To make sense (in so far as there is sense) of these early posts, you may like to take a look at Esther in the Garden.

* * *

This is Ceres.
.
Lucy's at work.
.
I'll do a post.
.
This was gorse.
.
Mr Johnson landed.
.
Now there's this.

.
Barbee - I'm eleven.
.
Shibaguyz - don't mention Kore. Lucy's thinking Persephone or Demeter not Jupiter. Don't let her know.

Hi Ceres, it's good to meet you.

I'm very sorry about the loss of your mother. That's a very sad thing for a child to go through.

Lucy seems very nice, and I hope you'll be content there, and kind to her during your stay with her.

I can never keep the Roman and Greek gods' names straight. You're not helping here. Whoever you are, it's nice to meet you.

Hello Ceres... nice to meet the Goddess in person. Sorry to bring up Kore... didn't mean to bring up a bad subject. What brings you around these days?

You should drop by our blog and check out what's growing in our own little plot. The Goddess of all things growing should really get a kick out of it. Maybe you can even help Lucy out with her gardening woes?

Enjoy your stay and do drop in to say hello...
